Researching applied electromagnetics and technologies for 5G/6G systems. Main research focus is on leaky-wave antennas, beamforming metasurfaces, and advanced materials (e.g., graphene and ITO).
Responsibilities include (but not limited to) designing electromagnetic structures in Ansys FEM-HFSS, and lab work involving network analyzers, anechoic chambers, probe stations, and 3D printing.
Trained on using the microfabrication facility at Carleton university, where I have fabricated my own devices using photolithography and e-beam metal deposition.
