Patch Antenna Array

I created a 1x2 patch antenna array for the final project assigned in ECE475: Radio-Wave Systems. The objective was to design a high-gain, low-profile antenna capable of transmitting signals at 1.575 GHz to the ISS in orbit around the Earth. I used theoretical equations to calculate what the approximate dimensions and spacing of the patch antennas should be. Next, I used HFSS to simulate and fine-tune the dimensions and run simulations. Gain plots and S11-parameter plots were generated to verify the antenna meets the performance specifications. The antenna array successfully met the specifications and more details of this design are given in my report.
